Professional hair/make up or DIY
-I can’t stress it enough to get your hair and make up done by a professional. Your make up from day to day needs to be little different on your wedding day. How you see yourself in the mirror is not what you will look like in front of a professional camera lens when you get your pictures back. For example, pageant girls will wear their make-up different for on stage than they will on their day to day because of the lighting and this is also true for you. It is imperative to wear white, or whatever color your dress or suite will be for your trial so you can get a true comparison of what you will look like on wedding day. I also encourage my couples to schedule their trial on the same day as their engagement session. This is another great way to see exactly what your make up will look like when you get pictures back. I also encourage my couples to pay a little extra to have your hair and make up artist to stay as long as you are doing pictures. If you can’t afford it then see if they make up artist will leave you a little sample pallet of what you are wearing in case you need to do touch ups. God forbid grandma comes up to you and gives you a kiss and leaves red lip prints on your cheek. These things happen and you must be prepared for them. -If you are doing extensions then make sure you get with your hair dresser and bring them in with your trial. It is important that you love your hair with the extensions. Plus, you want to make sure that your hair color looks great with the extensions too. -Bring your veil. This way you can ensure that the style you have chosen will compliment your veil.
